About the NextGen Programme

The CK Birla Group’s Management Trainee programme (NextGen) identifies talented young professionals and sets them on the path to becoming future business leaders. The programme provides accelerated learning to participants through a variety of operational and strategic projects and functional and behavioural training, thereby giving them a unique head start.

NextGen is an entry-level leadership development programme that spans an entire year. The programme packs in multi-functional project experiences for inculcating deep business understanding to this young leadership talent pool. The programme also includes learning interventions that address, both, the functional and behavioural requirements of promising young professionals.
Subject to meeting certain defined eligibility criteria, NextGen participants get fast track career growth within the Group.

The CK Birla Group Summer Internship Programme is a testament to the Group’s vision of growth and transformation. We recruit the best minds from across the country, and provide them with a platform to deliver high-impact projects and outcomes that can help transform the Group, while enriching themselves with learning and experiences.

The Summer Internship Programme is an opportunity for interns to:

Students from IIM-Ahmedabad, IIM-Bangalore, and IIM-Calcutta get access to NextGen program through three routes, subject to meeting minimum criterion:-

  • National Case Study Championship - StratQ
  • SIP (Summer Internship Program)
  • Campus Recruitment Process.

NextGen Trainees are recruited on the basis of actual vacancies across various companies. They are recruited for General Management roles and absorbed based on individual’s demonstrated interest, strengths and competencies.
